Lahore, 24th February: Professional-golfer Tiger Woods gets injured after a fatal car accident.
Baaghi TV: According to reports, Tiger Woods crashed his SUV on a sweeping downhill road in the Los Angeles suburbs on Tuesday morning.
As per reports pouring in, the doctors are trying to stabilise significant injuries to his right leg with rods along with a combination of screws and pins.
Authorities have reported that Woods was driving to a television shoot when his SUV crashed into a median, rolled over and ended up on its side near a steep road already known for wrecks.
Tiger Woods had to be pulled out through the windshield.
Woods’ foundation told in a statement that he was awake, responsive and recovering in the hospital.
Dr Anish Mahajan, the chief medical officer at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, said Woods broke the tibia and fibula bones of his lower right leg in multiple locations, which were supported by a rod in the tibia.
Mahajan also informed on Woods’ Twitter account late Tuesday night that additional injuries to the bones in the foot and ankle required screws and pins.

The statement added that the long surgical procedure also reduced swelling. Woods was awake and recovering in his hospital room.
The incident was reported by a resident who called 911. A Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputy, the first on the scene, poked his head through a hole in the windshield to see Woods, his seatbelt fastened, sitting in the driver’s seat.
The greatest golfer of all times has spent the last decade in a cycle of injuries, self-inflicted personal problems and an arrest for DUI. Each time he made a resounding comeback.
No charges have been filed as the police said there was no evidence he was impaired and no one else was injured.
As per reports, this was the 10th surgery for Woods, who has already suffered knee, back and neck problems for more than a decade.
International celebrities began sending their best wishes to Woods on his official Twitter account.
Tennis legend Serena Williams took to her Twitter handle and sent her love to Woods saying that he would get through this.
