Lahore, 24th May: The government of Pakistan has decided to conduct examinations for all students, saying that no one will be promoted this year without taking exams.

It was decided in the meeting that the exams of classes 10th and 12th will be held in the third week of June.

Examinations will start from June 20, however, the date of examinations will be announced by the respective provinces themselves.
It was decided in the meeting that in case of delay in results, universities will admit on the basis of Provisional Certificate.
In addition, it has been decided to reduce the number of summer vacations this year, but the provincial governments will also have the power to decide what action to take in view of the coronavirus.

It should be noted that the NCOC has given permission to open educational institutions in areas with less than 5% of coronavirus cases while the decision about schools in areas with more than 5% cases will be taken on June 3.

In addition, due to the increase in COVID cases across Sindh, educational institutions are closed and the Sindh government has imposed a strict lockdown for two weeks.
