Lahore, 24th May: The government of Pakistan has decided to conduct examinations for all students, saying that no one will be promoted this year without taking exams.
The decision was taken at the Inter-Provincial Education Ministers’ Conference (IPEMC) on Monday chaired by the Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood.

It was decided in the meeting that the exams of classes 10th and 12th will be held in the third week of June.
It should be noted that the NCOC has given permission to open educational institutions in areas with less than 5% of coronavirus cases while the decision about schools in areas with more than 5% cases will be taken on June 3.
In addition, due to the increase in COVID cases across Sindh, educational institutions are closed and the Sindh government has imposed a strict lockdown for two weeks.
