LAHORE, Jan 14 (APP): Provincial Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid said on Tuesday that despite passage of six weeks, given to Nawaz Sharif to get medical treatment from abroad, the government did not receive his latest and complete medical reports yet.

Addressing a press conference here at DGPR office, she said that Sharif family however sent incomplete reports to Punjab government from London.

She mentioned that former prime minister was given six weeks to get his medical treatment from abroad but it seemed he was not going under any medical treatment in London.

The Provincial Minister said that she also telephoned Dr Adnan, personal physician of Nawaz Sharif, to send Nawaz’s latest medical reports. “I asked Dr Adnan to share latest medical reports of Nawaz Sharif with Punjab government,” she added.

To a question, she said that Nawaz Sharif along with his family members was dining at a London restaurant in his recent pictures, which gone viral on social media these days, which wondered everyone that how come it possible for a person suffering from various fatal diseases.

Nawaz Sharif was a prisoner, who was granted bail by the court on humanitarian ground and his bail period had already expired on December 25, 2019, she maintained.

To another question, Dr. Yasim said that Maryam Nawaz was also attempting to flee to London on the pretext of looking after his ailing father, who in his recent pictures seemed healthy and physically fit.

When the court of law and the government permitted Nawaz Sharif for medical treatment abroad, he should have cured his health seriously instead of turning this opportunity into a leisure trip to London, she argued.

To another query, she said that if Nawaz Sharif did not send his latest and complete medical reports within 48 hours, then government would definitely decide its future line of action in this regard. “We also giving a clear message to Sharif Family through media that they should submit Nawaz’s medical reports at the earliest,” she concluded.
