An Indian journalist, Mazhar Farooqui working for Gulf News Dubai has been threatened that his passport will be confiscated and he would be arrested on entering India. According to Baaghi TV, the reason for threats and abuses hurled at Mazhar Farooqui apparently is, he had reported some Islamophobic social media posts by Indian ex-pats which resulted in their ouster and now he is being trolled and threatened. The threats were explicit and some of them read: You are being closely watched by security agencies here; your future liberty in India is uncertain. U may have to go to jail if you return here.
