Additionally, exercise offers a distraction from negative thoughts while presenting opportunities for engaging in new experiences.

Many individuals find relief from depression through various forms of exercise, including aerobics, yoga, meditation, gym workouts, and walking. Each method carries its own set of benefits, and personal preference, along with individual reactions, dictates the choice of exercise that proves most effective.
At a personal level, I always loved walking. The fresh air, the rush of adrenaline. The closeness to nature. Looking at the colors of changing seasons-the ambers and rusts of leaves strewing the grounds, drifting down in a slow dance. The golden marigolds nodding their heads lazily. The blossoming of flowers in spring. The burst of colors thrown by the nature from a bucket in every shade and hue in a brilliant pirouette! The chilly breeze caressing your cheek in cooler weathers & the warm one kissing your cheeks as you raise your face to enjoy the feel.

Only the sound of a light breeze & the mellow garden chimes! The birds fluttering to the bird-bath for a splash & a sip of water. Eyes closed, breath in. Hold it right there. Hands on knees, palms up. Let go slowly. Again.
