Horrific accident reported at Lilla Interchange
Lahore, 16th November: A horrible accident took place on the motorway today where many cars collided with each other.
According to reports of Baaghi TV, the accident took place near the Lilla interchange on Lahore-Islamabad motorway.
According to reports, 6-7 cars crashed into each other. There can be dead bodies seen lying on the road.
A social media user posted a picture along with the horrific news, a while back on Twitter:

She wanted the incident to be reported immediately to the concerned authorities, so that help can be reached there.

The tweet was posted a few hours ago. Reportedly, mobile networks are jammed in the area due to a protest rally from that place till Islamabad.
However, it is also reported that the National Highway and Motorway Police (NHMP) have reached out to the accident spot and rescue services are being provided.
NHMP replied to the query of the social media user who reported the incident:
Dear Sir/Madam,
Please note that the said accident occurred at 2219 hrs officers of National Highways & Motorway Police and other allied rescue services have attended the accident. Carriageway is now clear.
