‘I can’t talk about Mehwish Hayat’: Senator Mushahidullah

Lahore, 16th September: Under the chairmanship of Sadiq Sanjrani, the Senate session is underway.

In the Senate session, PML-N member Mushahidullah Khan said, “I saw a picture of Peshawar Zalmi. Some people were given presidential awards which they did not deserve. Javed Afridi only owned a cricket team.”

Pointing towards the undeserved award to the Pakistani film actress Mehwish Hayat, he said, “I can’t talk about Mehwish Hayat because I am old now.”

Mushahidullah Khan further said that if Javed Afridi got the award for doing business with China, then it is a good thing. Why Karachi Kings, Multan Sultan and Islamabad United did not get the award?

Adviser to the Prime Minister on Parliamentary Affairs Dr Babar Awan said that it is not necessary that the answer to every question should be in a political style.
