I was offered to share screens with Irrfan Khan, Sarwat Gilani reveals

Lahore: Well known actress Sarwat Gilani said that she was offered to work with Irfan Khan but she could not work with her competitor which she regrets.

Sarwat Gilani, a well-known actress in the Pakistani showbiz industry, has revealed that she was offered to work with the late Indian actor Irfan Khan.

“I have lost the opportunity to work with Irfan Khan, which I deeply regret,” Gilani said in an interview with a foreign website.She said that Irfan Khan’s team wanted to cast an actress from Pakistan for the film. The actress said that at that time she had a drama on air which was also very popular in India.

She lamented that the matter was being discussed but unfortunately the political drama started and it could not yield any result.

It may be recalled that Irfan Khan, a versatile Bollywood actor, died at the age of 53 at the end of April this year due to a colon infection.
