ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has reserved its judgment in a case related to the promotion of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) through a health card.

The case related to the color of PTI flag on health card was heard by Chief Justice Islamabad High Court Justice Athar Minallah.

During the hearing, Chief Justice Athar Minallah while talking to PML-N leader Mohsin Shahnawaz Ranjha said that you should take your seat. The court will not hear you. The one who has requested the case will give arguments himself.

A copy of the reply submitted by the Ministry of Health was also produced before the court.

Chief Justice Islamabad High Court asked the Deputy Attorney General that you have read the answer submitted by the Ministry of Health? The ministry says the minister violated it.

The deputy attorney general told the court that the health card had neither a picture, nor a slogan, nor a flag, and that this was not a violation of the Supreme Court’s decision.

Justice Athar Minallah said that what is on the health card? Is this someone’s flag? Do not defend what you cannot defend.

The Deputy Attorney General reiterated that there is no party flag on the card. The decision of the Supreme Court was not violated. Elections were held at the time when the Supreme Court decision came. It was a special time.

The court said that the law is equal for all. What is wrong for others is also wrong for them.

The Islamabad High Court asked whether the federal government had taken up the matter with the federal cabinet if it had to paint the card.

Chief Justice Atharmanullah remarked that what happens in the outside world? Do the ruling parties of Britain and America put pictures on card?

The court reserved its decision after arguments of the parties in the case against the advertisement of health card in the color of PTI flag.
