Baaghi TV: Musarat Zahra, a 26-year-old female photojournalist from Srinagar, the summer capital of Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, has been nominated for the Peter Meckler Award for Coverage and Ethical Journalism 2020 for her courageous and ethical journalism. According to South Asian Wire, Zahra was honored with the 2020 Anja Naider Nighas Craze Award by the International Women’s Media Foundation in Washington DC in June this year. According to the South Asian Wire, the award citation states that Ms. Zahra was summoned by the police during her work and has been charged with spreading fake news and supporting anti-national elements.
