ISLAMABAD, JULY 20 (Online Int’l): The Islamabad High Court while issuing notices to all respondents on appeal pleas filed by Moazzam Ali and Mohsin Ali, the convicted in Imran Farooq murder case, has sought a reply from them.
A division bench of the IHC led by Chief Justice (CJ) Athar Minallah took up the case for hearing Monday. The court has summoned all the record from the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC). The counsel for the petitioner prayed the court to annul the Anti Terrorism court June 18 verdict. It may be mentioned that the ATC had awarded a life sentence and fined Rs 200000 to the convict Khalid Shamim. The hearing of the case was adjourned for an indefinite time.
