Islamabad: Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan said while comparing foreign tours of the current and previous governments, that instead of spending lacs of dollars on US trips like former leaders, Imran Khan spent only $67,000.
According to details, Ali Muhammad Khan presented a comparison of the foreign tours as Prime Ministers of Yousuf Raza Gillani, Nawaz Sharif, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Imran Khan, and ex-President Asif Ali Zardari, in the Parliament.
Ali Muhammad Khan said that if you ask about expenses from our PM then hear this: 434 million were reserved for the PM out of which 137 million were saved. Unlike ex-Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Imran Khan did not ask for any supplementary grants.
He said ex-President Zardari spent 700,000 dollars on his US trip, Nawaz Sharif spent 549,000 dollars, and Imran Khan spent only 67,000 dollars.
Ali Muhammad Khan said that Asif Ali Zardari spent 1,300,000 dollars on his tour of the United Nations, Nawaz Sharif spent 1,100,000 dollars and Imran Khan spent only 162,000 dollars.
He said that Yousuf Raza Gillani spent 460,000 dollars on the trip to Davos, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi spent 500,000 dollars, and Nawaz Sharif spent 700,000 dollars and could not say a word.
Ali Muhammad Khan said that Asif Ali Zardari was the one who did not allow the Swiss letter to be written, even if it meant sacrificing his Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gillani. Former minister Ishaq Dar and Salman Shehbaz are escapees of justice. If they trust the Supreme Court they should return and face the cases against them.
He said 110 sugar mills were created in previous tenures, and steel mill was looted. Imran Khan has no business of his own.
