In a latest development, PPP and ANP leaders get removed from WhatsApp group
Lahore, 13th April: In the latest development, phone numbers of prominent leaders of both the parties, PPP and ANP have been removed from PDM’s WhatsApp group.
According to Baaghi TV’s reports, after the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Awami National Party (ANP) decided to part ways with the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), leaders of both have been removed from the opposition alliance’s WhatsApp group.
According to reports, Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader Ahsan Iqbal, who is the group admin, has removed the names of PPP’s Yousaf Raza Gilani, Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Qamar Zaman Kaira, Sherry Rehman and ANP’s Mian Iftikhar from the PDM’s WhatsApp group.
The move comes after the PDM chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman convened an important meeting at his residence in Islamabad, where PPP and ANP were not invited.
While addressing the media after the meeting, Maulana said that both parties have time to rethink their decision to quit the PDM.
It is to be noted that the PPP leaders on Tuesday submitted their resignations to the PDM chief on the instructions of their party chairman Bilawal Zardari.
