India rejected visa applications from members of the US commission, with US media saying the commission’s panel wanted to visit India to investigate the ground realities.The commission contacted the State Department after the visa was denied, saying the commission wanted to visit occupied Kashmir and Indian cities to observe the ground realities of atrocities against minorities, including Muslims, but India refused to issue visas.
