The senior vice-president of the Cromer Cricket Club, who was present, said that when he saw the plane approaching, he ran far away. They feared the plane would hit the roof of the shed. The plane was flying from the Sydney Flying Academy, which was being flown by a young pilot, and a co-pilot was also on board.
It appears that the plane went out of control of the young pilot, after which it crash-landed. Both survived the crash, but both were seriously injured. The other’s leg was broken. The incident is being further investigated.
The Indian team has survived the accident. The Indian team has reached Australia on a long tour of more than 2 months and is currently in quarantine.
