India’s response on PM Khan’s move

Lahore, 5th August 2020: Occupied Kashmir is now a part of Pakistan, PM Imran Khan has included Kashmir in the map of Pakistan, which is not acceptable to India.

India reportedly has reacted strongly to Pakistan’s inclusion of Occupied Kashmir in the new map. India has said it has no legal status or international reputation.

According to Indian media, the Indian Foreign Ministry has said in a statement that there is no legal status for Prime Minister Imran Khan to include occupied Kashmir and some areas of Gujrat in the new Pakistani map, calling it a “so-called”.

Indian media say that the move by the Prime Minister of Pakistan to show occupied Kashmir as part of Pakistan has hurt India a lot. It is also being said that the Indian government is very much afraid of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Kashmir strategy.

Meanwhile, the Pakistani Foreign Ministry has categorically rejected the Indian Foreign Ministry’s statement on the political map released by Pakistan, saying that India is a country that is brazen with forced expansionism and state terrorism.

India cannot be distracted by such statements from its illegal and unacceptable actions in occupied Jammu and Kashmir, including those carried out after August 5, 2019.

A statement issued by Foreign Office spokesperson Ayesha Farooqi said that India is a country that makes accusations against others and shows arrogance with forced expansionism and state terrorism.
