Lahore, 10th November: Iranian Foreign Minister will make an important visit to Pakistan.
Baaghi TV: Iranian Foreign Minister Jawad Zarif arrived in Pakistan today. During his two-day visit, Jawad Zarif will hold meetings with the Prime Minister, Foreign Minister and Army Chief.
During the visit, Jawad Zarif will hold meetings with Prime Minister Imran Khan, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
Diplomatic sources said that Iran’s special envoy to Afghanistan Mohammad Ibrahim will also be part of the delegation along with the Iranian ambassador.
Foreign Minister Jawad Zarif’s visit to Pakistan is part of a regular high-level exchange between the two countries. This is his fourth visit to Pakistan in the last two and a half years.
Pakistan and Iran have close and friendly relations based on mutual trust. Mutual cooperation between the two countries is growing in various fields. The Iranian leadership has been vocal in its support for the Jammu and Kashmir dispute.
The visit of the Iranian Foreign Minister will help further deepen mutual cooperation and understanding on various regional issues.
