ISPR Press Release: COAS Meets with Chinese Military Leadership

Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa met Chinese Military leadership in China today morning. ISPR 

According to press released by Inter Services Public Relation (ISPR) COAS General Bajwa met Commander Army General Han Weiguo, People’s Liberation Army and General Xu Qiliang, Vioce Chairman of Central Military Commission (CMC), at PLA headquarter.

According to ISPR military leadership discussed regional security situation and Pak China defense cooperation.COAS General Bajwa briefed Chinese military leadership about latest situation in Indian occupied Kashmir.

COAS praised Chinese military leadership’s support and role in promoting Pakistan’s  narrative on international platforms over Kashmir issue.COAS said india must respect United Nations resolution on Kashmir.India should ensure human rights in Occupied Kashmir.

Chinese military leadership appreciated Pakistan’s peaceful stance over Kashmir issue, and they also said Pakistan is very responsible and peaceful country of South Asia.Both countries military leadership agreed on that if Kashmir issue will left unresolved by international community and bodies this is will cause serious danger to stability and peace of the region.

Peace efforts in Afghanistan also comes under discussion in the meeting.Dramatically changing situation in gulf was also discussed by both sides.Both sides agreed on enhancement of mutual relations and to expand military cooperation between Pakistan and China.

Earlier upon arrival at People’s Liberation Army Headquarter, COAS  General Bajwa was given guard of honor.
