Israel: Chahi Ariel, an Israeli farmer, has reportedly broken Japanese records by growing the heaviest strawberry in the world, according to reports by the South China Morning Post (SCMP). According to reports, weighing approximately 289 grams, the berry has been declared the world’s largest by the Guinness World Records. In addition, the berry was picked from the family’s farm in central Israel, near the city of Netanya, in February of 2021, however, the record for ‘heaviest’ strawberry was only confirmed this week.
