Jalil Sharqpuri questions expulsion from PMLN

According to the reports of Baaghi TV, Jalil Sharqpuri, an MP expelled from PML-N, has said that the country cannot tolerate any more crisis, we cannot be expelled from the party like this.

Jalil Sharqpuri said that if PPP members meet the Prime Minister, it does not violate the party, meeting the Chief Minister of Punjab is not an illegal act. Nawaz Sharif’s policy of confrontation is inappropriate. I have met the Chief Minister of Punjab many times in the matter of work.

There are differences of opinion in the party. This does not mean that I will leave the party. If the party brings a no-confidence motion against Usman Buzdar, I will support it.

Jalil Sharqpuri said that there is no problem in meeting the Chief Minister regarding the affairs of the constituency. If my statements do not seem appropriate to Rana Sana Ullah or anyone else, then I am not responsible for it. I will also question this expulsion in the future. Big-hearted people should not keep small thoughts in their minds. “Don’t go here, don’t go there”, this policy is not in favor of any party. Elected members keep meeting the Chief Minister and the Prime Minister. I have met the Prime Minister before the elections. Meeting Imran Khan does not mean that I am against my party.

It is not appropriate to come on the streets, protest and hold rallies. I still consider the opinion of Chaudhry Nisar to be right. Even in the case of Chaudhry Nisar, Nawaz Sharif’s policy was strict.

Jalil Sharqpuri further said that Imran Khan told me long ago to work for PTI. I worked at that time but then I did not intend to contest the election. Some party leaders approached me, to stop me. I told the contacting party leaders that I was not doing anything wrong. If I think the PML-N’s confrontational policy is not right, then this is my opinion. If I am taken away from membership, then I will also say why was I fired?

I have not found any party leader who has said that Nawaz Sharif’s decision is right. I have never acknowledged that the NAB should have the power to arrest anyone. It is wrong the way Shahbaz Sharif, Aleem Khan and Hamza Shahbaz were arrested by NAB.

For now, it would be hasty and undemocratic to think of a meeting. It has been 2 days since I received the notice. After 7 days, I will think about what to do next.
