The song picturized on the pair, Hona Tha Pyaar, became extremely popular and contributed to Mahira’s first brush with mainstream popularity. Later that year, Mahira Khan made her television debut with Mehreen Jabbar’s directorial Neeyat on ARY Digital. Mahira’s latest project was the superhit film Superstar (2019) and her upcoming film, Quaid e Azam Zindabad will be released later this year.

But then, in 2005 Saba debuted with a prominent role in the drama Main Aurat Hoon for which she won the PTV Award for Best Actress. Then in 2007 with Khuda Gawah on PTV, Saba received greater fame and was approached by several private channels. The talented actress was last seen on TV in the drama Cheekh (2019).
