Javed Chaudhry’s Son Arrested for Beating Students, Harassing Women

Urdu columnist and anchorperson Javed Chaudhry’s son, Muhammad Faaiz Javed, has been arrested along with three other people after being accused of attacking Model College for Boys, Sector F-11/3, Raja Market, Islamabad.

According to the details, four intoxicated people including Javed Chaudhry’s son forcibly entered the Islamabad Model College for Boys after verbally abusing and shouting at the guards.

The First Information Report (FIR) states that the intoxicated accused started beating the staff and students of the college and harassed female staff members as well.

According to the FIR, this incident took place on November 12, 2021 (yesterday) at 08:00 am local time when four intoxicated people forcibly entered into the college premises on a grey-coloured Toyota VIGO registration number VE-ICT/016.

The FIR was registered in Model Police Station Shalimar, Sector F-10/2, Islamabad by the college principal, Prof. Dr. Asad Faiz at 09:30 am local time. The FIR has been lodged against the accused under the following sections of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC):

  • Section 506: Punishment for criminal intimidation
  • Section 355: Assault or criminal force with intent to dishonour person, otherwise than on grave provocation
  • Section 354: Assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty
  • Section 452: House-trespass after preparation for hurt, assault or wrongful restraint
  • Section 34: Acts done by several persons In furtherance of common intention.

It is to be noted that along with Javed Chaudhry’s son, Muhammad Faaiz Javed, the names of other three accused are Ali Faizan Mirza, Haris Imtiaz and Fazal Khan.
