Jeddah’s International Airport shuts down after 40 years

Riyadh, June 28th: The southern terminal of Jeddah’s King Abdulaziz International Airport has been closed in Saudi Arabia after 40 years.

According to Arab media reports, the southern terminal of King Abdulaziz International Airport, also commonly known as Jeddah Airport, has been closed forever after 40 years.

According to the report, all the operations of the terminal have been shifted to the new airport as an alternative. The administration says the southern terminal was reserved for Saudi Arabian domestic and international flights.

A big annoucement for European Countries

He said that now all the operations of Saudi Airlines have been shifted to the new terminal 1 of the new airport instead of the southern terminal of Jeddah Airport from where all air activities have been restored. The management of King Abdulaziz International Airport also shared a special video regarding the closure of the terminal.

Through photography, they showed different parts of the South Terminal and said that many of our beautiful memories are associated with it, we have worked here for 40 years and now it is closed. It is to be noted that the new airport of Jeddah has been inaugurated from where the air activities have been fully restored.
