Karachi (2nd Aug, 2019): Murder case registered against K-Electric administration after man dies of electrocution in Karachi.

According to Baaghi TV’s reports, Karachi police have reportedly registered a murder case against the administration of K-Electric after a man has allegedly died due to electrocution in the city’s Chandni Chowk area.

The case was reportedly registered by SHO Farrukh Hashmi who stated that a person died on 29th July after being electrocuted by a nearby pole in the vicinity of Chandni Chowk, Paposh Nagar. Moreover, it has been confirmed by Baaghi TV’s sources that the Police have registered the case as a murder on the behest of the victims’ brother, Sheikh Waqas Ahmed’s petition against the K-Electric management.

Reportedly, the police have registered the case under section 322 of negligence and irresponsibility. Additionally, sources have confirmed that prior to this, approximately 21 people including children have lost their lives to electric shocks from electricity poles during heavy rainfall in the port city.
