KARACHI: The Sindh government has announced free treatment for those injured in an explosion near Maskan Chowrangi in Gulshan-e-Iqbal area of ​​Karachi.

According to details, the Sindh government has issued a notification to treat the injured in the blast near Gulshan-e-Iqbal at government expense. A notification issued by the Sindh Health Department has directed to provide best facilities to the injured undergoing treatment in a private hospital.

The Sindh Health Department said that the hospital management should spare no effort in treating the injured and send all the bills regarding the hospital expenses to the Sindh Health Department.

It is to be noted that there were complaints from the families of the injured that the hospital management demanded a deposit of Rs 50,000 before treatment, as a result of which their loved one died. After the death of the young man, the family became enraged and protested.

Moreover, the woman, who was stumbling for the treatment of her injured nephew, also erupted against the indifference of the hospital management, saying that so much money was being demanded from the laborer. Set the hospital on fire.

Provincial Minister Saeed Ghani said that there was a law on immediate medical aid for the injured and the hospital management should know the law. He said that the health department officials had reached the hospital and the matter would be looked into.

It may be recalled that a gas leakage blast took place near Maskan Chowrangi in Gulshan-e-Iqbal area yesterday in which 5 people were killed and 26 injured.
