Karachi opens pools of performance of Sindh government

According to the report of Baaghi TV, the rains in Quaid-e-Azam’s city of Karachi has opened the floodgates of the performance of the Sindh government.

The series that started with drizzle in Quaid-e-Azam city of Karachi turned into heavy rain and became waterlogged. The government and the district administration disappeared from the scene. Traditionally, the rains proved to be a nuisance for the people of Karachi. The rains caused several feet of water to stand on Shahra-e-Faisal and Korangi Road. Punjab Chowrangi, Old City area and most of the Indus passes were flooded. Most vehicles and motorcycles sank due to the accumulation of water in Defense and Clifton.

A pole and a tree fell on the road leading to the Governor’s House, causing the road to be temporarily closed. As soon as the first drop of rain fell, the electric system came to a standstill. Two hundred feeders stopped working. Power was suspended in Saddar, Orangi, Korangi, Federal B Area, Malir, Shara Faisal, PIB, Surjani. Mahmoodabad, including Lyari, Baldia, Clifton, Hassan Square and Gulshan-e-Iqbal, could not be restored.

During the rains, the city’s roads looked like ponds yesterday, several poles had collapsed, traffic on the underpasses had become impassable, trees had been uprooted and the worst traffic jams in various areas had claimed people’s lives.

As a result of heavy rains in Karachi, water had also entered Jinnah Hospital due to which doctors and patients faced problems. The old surgical block of Jinnah Hospital has been flooded. According to Dr. Sami Jamali, Director, Jinnah Hospital, the hospital has arranged drainage through pumps.

Dr. Sami Jamali said that due to heavy rains, a large amount of rain water had also entered Jinnah Hospital. He clarified that the emergency services at the hospital have been fully restored and there has been no disruption.

Due to flooding on Karachi’s famous Faisal Highway, traffic was severely jammed, vehicles were stuck in the water, the government was nowhere to be seen, there is a PPP government in Sindh, and it has been more than a decade. The PPP government is ruling but politics is done on the rubbish, the lives of the citizens are at stake, nothing is done to give relief to the citizens, now the rain has opened the pool of performance of the PPP government.
