Khalil ur Rehman Qamar, the man behind dramas like Sadqey Tumharay, Pyaaray Afzal and most recently, Meray Pass Tum Ho and Kaaf Kangana is writing something similar to Diriliş: Ertuğrul and this left us wondering what it is going to be all about. 

Khalil-ur-Rehman while making an appearance at a talk show “Bas, Boht Hogaya” hosted by Kiran Naz, talked about his latest inspiration.

The writer told that he has talked to Humayun Saeed and he is going to start writing a script like Diriliş: Ertuğrul.

He also pointed out the reason for the success of Turkish productions is the fact that they have kept their national language intact and feel proud of their heritage.

The series, based on the life and times of the 13th-century Muslim Oghuz Turk leader, Ertugrul, has taken Pakistan by storm.

Ertugrul was the father of Osman, the founder of the Ottoman dynasty, which ruled a large part of the world for 600 years.

First launched in 2014, the lengthy five-season series has already hit the screen in 60 countries.
