Kulbushan Jadhav: A manifestation of India's state terrorism #Baaghi

Kulbushan Jadhav, alias Hussein Mubarak Patel, is a terrorist who was caught red-handed on 3rd March 2016 from Mashkel, Balochistan while traveling to Pakistan on an Iranian passport.

A serving Indian Navy officer, Jadhav was involved in spying, acts of terrorism, and sabotage against the state of Pakistan on behalf of the Indian government. His cynical activities cost Pakistan thousands of lives and hence he was awarded a death sentence in April 2017. Jadhav is a symbol of Indian aggression and state-sponsored terrorism against Pakistan.

According to reports of Al Jazeera, “Jadhav was arrested by Pakistani security forces in March 2016, and convicted a year later by a military court for espionage and facilitating attacks by armed groups on Pakistani soil”. Today marks the 6th arrest anniversary of Kulbushan Jadhav, Indian RAW (Research and Analysis Wing) agent. Baaghi TV has acquired some useful info and supported arguments pertaining to the Kulbushan Jadhav situation.

Who is Kulbushan Jadhav?

Indian national Kulbhushan Sudhir Jadhav was born in the city of Sangli in the Indian state of Maharashtra on April 15, 1969. Jadhav joined the Indian National Defence Academy in 1987 and was commissioned in the engineering branch of the Indian Navy in 1991; he is still serving as a Commander.

He was picked up by the Indian spy agency Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) at the end of 2013 and has been directing various subversive activities in Karachi and Balochistan. RAW gave him the pseudonym Hussein Mubarak Patel to conceal his real identity. According to earlier reports, Jadhav’s job was to hold meetings with Baloch insurgents and collaborate with them to carry out criminal activities, such as the killing and/or maiming of Pakistani citizens.

Jadhav who was arrested on March 3rd, 2016 was in pursuit of targets set by his RAW handlers. During interrogation by Pakistan’s investigation agencies, Jadhav revealed that at Wadh, he was in contact with Haji Baloch, who provided financial and logistic support to the *Baloch separatists and the Islamic State network in Karachi. Jadhav also revealed that the masterminds behind the Safoora bus attack were in contact with Haji Baloch. It is pertinent to note that the Safoora bus attack led to the assassination of 45 Ismaili passengers by gunmen.

Jadhav added that he had met Haji Baloch several times, sometimes for planning sectarian violence in Karachi and the rest of Sindh. Upon information provided by Jadhav, Pakistani security agencies arrested hundreds of undercover operatives working to sabotage peace in Pakistan.

Sentenced to Death in Pakistan:

Kulbhushan Jadhav was found guilty of heinous crimes against the state of Pakistan and was sentenced to death by the Field General Court Martial (FGCM) on April 10, 2017. In July 2019, after a petition lodged by India, the International Court of Justice (ICJ) ordered Pakistan to allow Jadhav full and unimpeded consular access to Indian officials but rejected an Indian plea for his conviction to be dismissed. India is yet to reconcile and accept the existence of Pakistan and is always busy plotting conspiracies to destabilize Pakistan.

Over the years, Indian spy agency RAW has exploited the swaths of ungovernable areas of Afghanistan for setting the bases across the Durand Line and even within some of the Indian Consulates in Iran. Sources believe RAW’s objectives have been the following: to befriend anti-Pakistan terrorist organizations and support selective but ruthless terrorist organizations like BLA, BRA, MQM (militant wings), TTP, Lashkar e Jhangvi and Daish, et cetera.

Likewise, to penetrate the area west of River Indus including Balochistan to support a proxy war against Pakistan; support dissident leadership of BLA, etc, and supply them arms and ammunitions to sabotage the lifeline of Balochistan, especially the communication networks; provide diplomatic support to dissident leaders and organize seminars and conferences in major capitals of the western world to highlight the cause of liberation of Balochistan.

RAW’s role in APS Peshawar Massacre & other terrorist attacks

It is pertinent to note that an attack on the Gwadar Pearl Continental hotel, claimed by the BLA, was sponsored by RAW in a bid to sabotage the CPEC (China–Pakistan Economic Corridor) projects. Similarly, the attack on the Chinese consulate in Karachi* was planned in the neighboring country and executed with the assistance of RAW, meanwhile, India was also behind the attack on the Karachi stock exchange (KSE) building.

In an interview with Indian Journalist Karan Thapar, the Prime Minister’s Advisor on National Security Moeed Yousaf said that “Pakistan had proof that the mastermind of the Army Public School (APS) Peshawar massacre was in contact with an Indian consulate during the attack. He further said India recently spent one million dollars to merge the TTP and four other terrorist organizations under the supervision of RAW officials. In addition, there are over 2000 transactions valued at over one billion dollars between 2011 to 2017 linked to RAW to finance terrorism against CPEC in Pakistan.

The RAW is also instrumental in exploiting sectarian and sub-nationalist issues in Gilgit-Baltistan. Some dissident individuals who have no standing at all are running a campaign to instigate locals against CPEC and Pakistan.

Indian state-sponsored terrorism in Pakistan:

In 2014, Indian National Security Advisor (NSA) to the Prime Minister (PM) of India, Ajit Doval threatened Pakistan by saying, “Now when we come into defensive offence, we start working on the vulnerabilities of Pakistan, it can be economic…it can be political…. it can be defeating their policies in Afghanistan, making it difficult for them to manage internal political balance or internal security…. Pakistan’s vulnerability is many times higher than that of India…. You do another 26/11, you lose Balochistan….”

According to experts, India is sponsoring state terrorism against Pakistan, any gain for Pakistan is a loss for New Delhi. Experts have urged the international community to take notice of India’s cross-border sponsorship of terrorism. It is pertinent to note that Kulbhushan Jadhav’s capture is a manifestation of Indian efforts to sabotage efforts and destabilize Pakistan.
