Laborers to get double the funds for their daughter’s marriage
Lahore, 24th August: The government of Pakistan has decided to grant double the funds for the laborers under the Worker Welfare Fund for their daughter’s marriages.
According to the report of Baaghi TV, Zulfi Bukhari, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis has said that the federal government has decided to double the grant to the laborers under the Worker Welfare Fund for their daughter’s marriages.

The laborers will now get Rs 200,000 instead of Rs 100,000 under the grant while in another development, the death grant for laborers was also increased by Rs 100,000 and they could now receive an amount of Rs 600,000.
Federal govt decides to give another post to Zulfi Bukhari
Zulfi Bukhari said, “We are committed to converting all institutions into profit-making departments. We have already converted Overseas Pakistanis Foundation into a profit-making institution.”
He also mentioned that the federal cabinet this year has increased the pension from Rs 6,500 to 8,5000. The increased amount and the arrears will be received soon after Eid ul Azha if it falls on the last date of the ongoing month.
