Lady Gaga pours out her feelings on performing at Biden’s inauguration
Washington, 21st January: The world-famous American singer Lady Gaga expressed her feelings on performing the US national anthem at the 56th inauguration ceremony in Washington DC on Wednesday.
Baaghi TV: Lady Gaga made a remarkable performance at the historic inauguration of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris as the US president and vice president at the Capitol Hill yesterday.
Articulating her feelings about performing the national anthem at the ‘Celebrating America’ event, Gaga said, “Singing our National Anthem for the American People is my honour.”
Gaga, 34, took to her Twitter handle and wrote, “I will sing during a ceremony, a transition, a moment of change—between POTUS 45 and 46. For me, this has great meaning.”
She added, “My intention is to acknowledge our past, be healing for our present, and passionate for a future where we work together lovingly. I will sing to the hearts of all people who live on this land. Respectfully and kindly, Lady Gaga.”

The entertainer wore a lavish custom Schiaparelli gown by French label Schiaparelli, which is led by Texan Daniel Roseberry, with a full red skirt and a navy coat adorned with a large gold dove holding an olive branch.
Revealing the symbolism behind her choice of attire, she wrote, “A dove carrying an olive branch. May we all make peace with each other.”
