Latest Development in Mega Power Scandal that Cost Billions

Lahore: Khalid Saeed, Ex-Chairman Nepra has been called for investigation by NAB.

Latest developments have surfaced regarding the IPP fraud case that cost nearly 300 Billion.

According to sources, Ex-Chairman National Electric Power Regulatory Authority [Nepra], Khalid Saeed has been called in by the National Accountability Bureau [NAB] on the 20th of May, 2019.

Khalid Saeed was responsible for the signing and approval of fraudulent documents of the IPP which was being led by Mian Mansha of Nishat Chunian power, claim sources. It has been approximated that Rs. 3 was wrongfully charged to the consumers of Pakistan due to these fake documents.
