Legislation is not for myself, but for future generations: PM Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD: I am doing legislation not for myself but for future generations: PM’s message to the nation, so that the nation can no longer hold these few families hostage, he said, the future of the country is tied to transparent democracy.

Earlier in the parliamentary session, Prime Minister Imran Khan had said that the era of special legislation for a few families was over, now the nation is getting a new Pakistan.

On this occasion Imran Khan said that you will play a role in laying the foundation of fair and transparent elections in the country. Overseas Pakistanis are the backbone of this country’s economy. Overseas Pakistanis should have the right to vote. Be aware of, insha’Allah everyone’s complaints will be gone soon.

The Prime Minister said that since 1970 all elections have been objected to, wanting to create a system where all parties accept candidate results, electoral reform is for the country and democracy not for caste or party, EVM and overseas voters. Giving the right will strengthen democracy, the numbers are perfect, we will get success. He directed the members to ensure attendance in the House.

Earlier, in an informal conversation with reporters, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the player is ready for everything, the one who enters the field thinks of better performance than the opponent.
