LHC orders Mian Mansha to record statement to NAB.

Lahore High Court has ordered Mian Mansha to record statement to NAB in James Hotel case.

According to reports of Baaghitv, a two member bench of Lahore High Court headed by Justice Baqar Najfi held a hearing on the application of Mian Mansha against National Accountability Bureau. Counsel for Mian Mansha contended that the anti-graft watchdog has initiated baseless inquiries against his client and Islamabad High Court has already dismissed application against Mian Mansha on February 22, 2019.

NAB has inititated inquiry against Mian Mansha on November 1, 2018 against purchase of multi-billion dollar Saint James Hotel and Club in London and has asked him to provide complete money trail of the said purchase. Counsel for Mian Mansha contended NAB’s notice to be declared and null and void and all the proceedings against to be halted.

Court. after hearing the arguments, ordered Mian Mansha to appear before NAB and record his statement in purchase of multi-billion dollar Saint James Hotel and Club and adjourned the hearing till September 23, 2019.
