Pakistan to issue visa on arrival for Qatari passport holders.

Pakistan will issue visa to Qatari passport holders on arrival announced by Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

According to reports of Baaghitv, in the recent development Pakistan has decided to issue visa on arrival to Qatar’s passport holders in a bid to further enhance bilateral co-operation between Qatar and Pakistan. This has been confirmed by Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA).

Qatar’s MOFA has released a statement in this regard which reads, “Pakistani authorities have decided to grant all Qatari passport holders immediate entry visas (tourist/visit) for one or several trips and for a period of 30 days which is extendable for an additional 30 days.”

A number of requirements are required for this on arrival visa facility which includes a round trip ticket, a valid passport at least for six months and cash equivalent to $1500.

The PTI-led government in January had decided to ease travel restrictions in a bid to revive tourism in country and offered visas on arrival to 50 countries and electronic visas to 175 nationalities.
