LHC to hear bail plea of Khadija Shah today

A two-member bench of the Lahore High Court will hear the bail petition of fashion designer Khadijah Shah on Thursday (today).

The bench consisting of Justice Alia Neelam and Justice Shahram Sarwar Chaudhry has issued a notice to the authorities and sought a reply on the bail application of the PTI activist allegedly involved in an arson case on May 9.

Lahore Sarwar Road police station has registered a case against Khadija Shah.

A petition has been filed on behalf of Shah, who is in jail on judicial remand, that no investigation is required against her, and she be granted bail.
