Best Dressed Celebs of PISA Awards:
All the celebs and their ensembles surpassed each other and were worth appreciating but there are three outfits that were highlighted and worthy of being in the category of best dress.
- Sarah Khan
Top of this list is the Pakistani drama actress, Sarah Khan who wore two outfits at the event, a gorgeous black chiffon saree with an embellished blouse and a green gown, when she did the honors of opening the award ceremony with Pakistani National Anthem. Sarah Khan is one of those few celebrities who not only dress modestly but also know what looks good on them. She looked like a vision in the black saree and showed how simple outfits can make a statement.
2. Ayesha Omar:
Next on my list is none other than our very own ‘Khoobsurat’ from the drama Bulbulay, Ayesha Omar who wore the creation of a Kuwaiti designer label LabourJoisie. This gown was sparkly, it was blingy, had tassels and was just perfect, clinging to her slim figure and she carried it with utter flawlessness.
3. Sana Javed:
Sana Javed takes the third position on this list, she took the Best Actress (critic) award for her drama Ruswai. She wore a creation of Nomi Ansari and looked absolutely beautiful. It was a gorgeous solid black base which was amped up with silver metallic mukaish work. She wasn’t up for the attention, but definitely gained the recognition for the right purpose and everyone talked about her traditional dress.
Pakistani celebrities wearing traditional ensemble always stand out in the crowd, whatever the occasion they should opt more to promote our culture and its diversities. Modernity is always a positive sign and a step ahead but connected with appropriate balance goes hand in hand.
PISA Awards 2020 were a blend of style and grandeur, with outstanding dance performances and melodious songs sung by renowned artists. All the best to Pakistan Drama and Film Industries for their achievements and upcoming projects in the near future.
