Lord of the Rings TV series to be the largest series ever made

Amazon has confirmed that it will spend $465 million estimatedly on the series. The series is said to be the largest and the most expensive series ever made.

Previously, Game of Thrones series was said to be the largest which cost $100 million estimatedly per season. But Lord of the Rings will cost $465 million per season.

New Zealand’s government has confirmed that the first five seasons are expected to be shot in New Zealand. The series is also said to have a spinoff which will also be shot in NewZealand.
