Los Angeles-returned passenger held for carrying illegal gold plated pistol

An American woman was arrested in Australia after a gold pistol was found in her luggage as pistol was plated with 24 carat gold.

Officials have not released the identity of the woman, but it has been reported that the woman had arrived in Sydney from Los Angeles.

According to the Australian Border Force, the woman did not have a license for the weapon.

According to officials, the 28-year-old woman appeared in a local court on Monday, where she was granted bail.

However, this woman will have to face the case of illegally bringing weapons into Australia, in which she can be sentenced to ten years in prison.

The woman’s visa can also be canceled and she can be deported.

In the images released by the Australian Border Force, a scan of the woman’s luggage at the airport can be seen showing the pistol in the bag. In another photo, the pistol can be seen after the bag is opened.
