Lufthansa to resume flight operations in Pakistan after 13 years

German Ambassador to Pakistan H.E. Bernhard Stephen Schlagheck called on Board of Investment (BOI) Secretary Fareena Mazhar on September 8, 2021 in Islamabad. According to details, the German national airline, Lufthansa is considering to resume weekly flight operations in Pakistan after thirteen years, an envoy said on Wednesday. The German Ambassador to Pakistan Bernhard Schlagheck also announced that a delegation of businessmen will visit Pakistan next week to explore investment opportunities in the country. In a meeting with BOI Secretary, he said that Lufthansa airline executives will also be a part of the delegation.
