Lahore, 12th June: Major Mushtaq, Pakistan’s former IG, and DG FIA passed away yesterday.

According to Baaghi TV, former IG and DG FIA went on his final abode yesterday night after battling the fight against coronavirus.

It is reported that Major Mushtaq was suffering was COVID-19 and was under treatment at Lahore CMH. His condition worsened and he was shifted to ICU and kept on a ventilator.

As per sources, he was provided with two packs of blood plasma required for the recovery of COVID patients, but couldn’t survive and breathed his last yesterday.

Major Mushtaq had served the army as the Director-General of the Federal Investigative Agency (FIA) in 1999.

It is indeed a great loss for the nation and his family. May Allah grant patience to the bereaved’s family and increase his ranks in Jannah.
