Maleeha Lodhi salutes Erdogan for raising Kashmir issue
Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan raised his voice on Indian-Occupied Kashmir issue in United Nations General Assembly on Monday. Pakistan’s Ambassador at the UN, Maleeha Lodhi thanked the Turkish President for raising the matter.
She wrote, “We salute President Erdogan for forcefully raising the issue of occupied Kashmir in his address today to the UN General Assembly and also referring to UN resolutions on the issue.”

She also added, “Thank you President Erdogan for taking a principled stand and for your solidarity with the suffering and oppressed people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir.”

The stability and prosperity of South Asia can not be separated from the Kashmir issue, said Erdogan at UN General Assembly.
Kashmir conflict is waiting for solution for 72 years, added the Turkish President.
