Lahore: Punjab government has announced that people must wear masks in public places.
According to reports, the Primary and Secondary HealthCare Department, a subsidiary of the Punjab government, has decided to cover faces in public places in Punjab to curb the growing spread of Coronavirus.
According to Baaghi TV, Captain (retd) Muhammad Usman of the Primary and Secondary HealthCare Department issued a notification in this regard. Sources also said that the ban was imposed under sections 4 and 5 of the Punjab 2020.
The Department of Primary and Secondary Health Care has said that no service should be provided to customers who come without covering their faces.
The Department of Primary and Secondary Health Care has urged the district administration and the police to strictly enforce the ban. The Department of Primary and Secondary Health Care said the ban was imposed in view of the deteriorating coronavirus situation.
