Maryam Nawaz enraged at the arrest of Shehbaz Sharif

Lahore, 28th September: Regarding the recent arrest of the PML-N leader Shehbaz Sharif by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Maryam Nawaz has given her stance.

According to the report of Baaghi TV, PML-N leader and daughter of former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Maryam Nawaz has shown her annoyance with the NAB’s decision to arrest Shehbaz Sharif.

After the decision was announced, Maryam Nawaz expressed her concerns through her Twitter account. She wrote that Shehbaz Sharif has only been arrested as he refused to play in the hands of those who wanted him to stand against his own brother.

Make no mistake. Shehbaz Sharif has been arrested ONLY because he REFUSED to play in the hands of those who wanted to use him against his brother. He preferred standing behind prison bars than to stand against his brother. Shahbaz Sharif, aap ko SALAM!

She tweeted, “Make no mistake. Shehbaz Sharif has been arrested ONLY because he REFUSED to play in the hands of those who wanted to use him against his brother. He preferred standing behind prison bars than to stand against his brother. Shehbaz Sharif, AAP ko SALAM!”

She also said, “If there were accountability and justice in this country, not Shehbaz Sharif, Asim Saleem Bajwa and his family would have been arrested.”

Maryam Nawaz is undoubtedly furious with the decision made by the authorities against PML-N leader Shehbaz Sharif, which she further expresses through her continuous tweet threads.

آپ شہباز شریف کو گرفتار کر کہ بھی اپنے جھوٹے اور جعلی مینڈیٹ کو نہیں بچا سکیں گے۔ شہباز شریف کی سربراہی میں مسلم لیگ (ن) کے وفد نے اے پی سی میں جو بھی فیصلے کیے مسلم لیگ (ن) کا ہر کارکن ان وعدوں پر ثابت قدم رہے گا۔ انشاءاللّہ! آج ہم سب شہباز شریف ہیں!

She said, “You will not be able to save your false and fake mandate even by arresting Shehbaz Sharif. Whatever decisions are taken by the PML-N delegation led by Shehbaz Sharif in the APC, every PML-N worker will remain steadfast on these promises. God willing! Today we are all Shehbaz Sharif!”

شہباز شریف کا صرف یہ قصور ہے کہ اس نے نواز شریف کا ساتھ نہیں چھوڑا۔ اس نے جیل جانے کو ترجیح دی مگر اپنے بھائی کو ساتھ کھڑا رہا۔ یہ انتقامی احتساب نواز شریف اور اس کے ساتھیوں کا حوصلہ پست نہیں کر سکتے۔ اب وہ وقت دور نہیں جب اس حکومت اور ان کو لانے والوں کا احتساب عوام کرے گی۔

She further wrote, “Shehbaz Sharif’s only fault is that he did not leave Nawaz Sharif’s side. He preferred to go to jail but stood by his brother. This retaliatory accountability cannot discourage Nawaz Sharif and his associates. The time is not far when the people will be held accountable for this government and those who brought it.”

Chairman PPP demands an immediate release of PML-N Leader

It is to be noted that today NAB arrested the PML-N leader Shehbaz Sharif from the court premises. Baaghi TV has reported earlier that Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has demanded an immediate release of Shehbaz Sharif.
