Shehbaz Sharif claims that he is ready for his arrest
Lahore, 27th September: PML-N leader Shehbaz Sharif claims that if the time comes, he will not shy away from resigning and be ready for the arrest.
Baaghi TV: PML-N president and opposition leader Mian Shehbaz Sharif has said that he is ready for arrest, if the time comes, he will not delay in resigning.
He said that Prime Minister Imran Khan wants to arrest me. We will now not give a minute to the government, giving more time to the present government would be tantamount to wreaking havoc on the country. They got a lot of time but they brought the country to the brink of economic ruin. I have not been in touch with state institutions for these two years.

Regarding the meeting of the Chief of Army Staff, he said that it was of special strategic importance but the Prime Minister himself was not present.
He said that the Army Chief was also present at the meeting convened in February last year on the serious situation created by the Indian violation of Pakistan’s airspace but Prime Minister Imran Khan himself was not present.

Attempts to arrest Sharif will be thwarted, he said, adding that India was not happy with Nawaz Sharif’s speech but was happy with the destruction of the country’s economy and isolation in foreign policy. The decision of the meeting will be made by each party, no faction or grouping in the PML-N.
