Maulana Tariq Jameel apologizes to the media

ISLAMABAD: Maulana Tariq Jameel has apologized for his statement regarding ‘media’ given yesterday when Prime Minister Imran Khan was also present at the PM House on the biggest sensational telethon in the country’s history regarding the Corona Relief Fund.

Anchors from various channels of the country also participated in the telethon. On this occasion, a large number of philanthropists from home and abroad announced donations of millions of rupees for the Prime Minister’s Corona Relief Fund.

Maulana Tariq Jameel also prayed to Allah Almighty to get rid of this torment addressing before the prayer. During the speech, there was a strong reaction from the media on a statement made by him. Maulana Tariq Jameel said in his statement that lies are told on the media, they are liars. How can we stand before Allah, if our nation is full of lies?

He said that how many people out of 22 crores are true? Giving an example, Maulana Tariq Jameel said that once the owner of a channel asked me for advice. I said eliminate lies from your channel, to which he said that the channel can end, lies cannot end.

After his statement yesterday, now Maulana has apologized to the media. He said that lying is the root of all evils. Our nation should be freed of the lies and liers.

Maulana Tariq Jameel quoted an incident, that a man appeared before the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and said that there are many defects in me but can you tell me a sin which I can give up? I cannot give up all. So the Holy Prophet said that you should stop lying.

Maulana further said that in my statement “all” does not mean all, but the majority. Five fingers are not equal. He has apologized to the media and the anchors if he had offended them.
