3rd September: Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have signed a production deal with Netflix.
According to the reports from CNBC, former Duke and Duchess of Sussex have founded a production company and signed a multiyear deal with Netflix.
On Wednesday, it was revealed that Prince Harry and wife Meghan have founded a yet-to-be-named production company and signed a multiyear deal with Netflix to make documentaries, docuseries, feature films, scripted shows, and children’s programming.

The New York Times was the first to report the news.
Meghan who was last seen in a series called ‘Suits’ has been repeatedly saying that she will not return to acting.
“Our focus will be on creating content that informs but also gives hope,” the couple said in a statement, according to the Times. “As new parents, making inspirational family programming is also important to us.” They added that Netflix’s “unprecedented reach will help us share impactful content that unlocks action.”

A spokesman for NBC Universal and Disney declined to comment on the royal couple’s meetings, while spokesmen for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry also apologized for commenting on the issue.
However, the couple has now signed an agreement with the streaming website Netflix to produce their documentaries and shows.

The move comes just six months after the couple stepped down from their roles as senior royals and moved to Los Angeles.
It should be noted that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry got married in May 2018 and they had a son the very next year.
A few months after the birth of their son, both of them announced their resignation from the royal status. After leaving the monarchy, they initially moved to Canada, but later moved to the United States, where they now live in New York.
