Baaghi TV reports that two military helicopters collided in Afghanistan’s Helmand Province.
The Afghan Ministry of Defense confirmed that the Afghan military helicopter crash was due to a technical glitch, killing nine people.
The government did not release details of the incident. The crash happened in the Nawa district of Helmand, and the deceased included members of the forces, possibly civilians.
Two ANA Mil Mi-17 helicopters crashed due to technical issues while they were taking off in Nawa district of Helmand province, around 01:15 AM last night. Unfortunately, 9 individuals aboard were martyred in the crash. MoD is investigating the incident. 1/2

Helmand government spokesman Omar Zawak also confirmed the accident. Rescue workers and other law enforcement officials rushed to the scene after the incident. No details have been released about those killed in the crash.
