Ministry of Human Resources Collaborates with UNICEF for New Campaign
Islamabad (26 June, 2019): Ministry of Human Rights (HR) in collaboration with UNICEF launches “We the Future” campaign to inspire Pakistan’s youth.
The platform seeks to highlight the potential of the adolescents who wish to express themselves in their own capacities and contribute towards the development of their communities and the country at large.

“The Ministry of Human Rights, in line with the PTI Government’s policy is committed and focused on alleviating the problems confronting children of Pakistan today. She added that “the Ministry will further the rights of children as laid down in our Constitution and will work to stop all manner of child abuse including child labour”.

She continued to say that in times like this, “stories of young people who have overcome all odds to further their talents are very inspirational” as it is “these young people [who] are role models for future generations and send a positive message to the youth of today that they can do whatever they want”.
Moreover, representative for UNICEF, Ms. Aida Girma said that the campaign will serve in:
“Increasing the capacity and confidence of adolescents and will encourage them to creatively express themselves in the public domain.”
She continued to add that the objective is to use their videos to empower and raise awareness on the creativity and potential of future change makers.
