ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Science and Technology, Fawad Chaudhry, stated that Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on May 24 globally including Pakistan.
Talking on a private TV program, Fawad Chaudhry said that as per the calendar of the Ministry of Science, this time Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated in the country on May 24.
He claimed that this time the interesting thing is that Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on May 24 in almost all parts of the world along with Pakistan. Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on May 24 in Indonesia, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia and other Muslim countries.

Fawad Chaudhry said that Federal Minister Ghulam Sarwar and Noor-ul-Haq Qadri have also been invited in the committee of the Ministry of Science.
It should be noted that a meeting of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee has been convened on May 23 to observe the Shawwal moon in Pakistan.
