Islamabad, 28th October: Pakistan telecommunication company Mobilink’s office in Islamabad has been sealed.

Baaghi TV: Mobilink Office in Islamabad sector F-8 has been sealed for non-Payment of tax of Rs 25 Billion.

According to reports, Mobilink turned out to be a defaulter of Rs 25 billion.

According to Baaghi TV sources, the notification of default by Islamabad Land Revenue states that Mobilink did not fulfil its obligation of misrepresentation and tax evasion.

A notification issued by Deputy Commissioner Land Revenue Islamabad Hamad Shakeel said that Mobilink did not keep its promise and did not try to fulfil its national duty despite repeated assurances.

The notification said that since Mobilink did not pay more than Rs. 25.39 billion in taxes, the authority has decided to close the Mobilink office.

It is also learned Mobilink has started bargaining in this regard and the situation may improve in the next few days.
